Update 2.0 reworked core systems and shipped alongside Phantom Liberty, the game’s only paid expansion, in September 2023.
Update 2.3 and the 2.31 hotfix (2025)
Update 2.3 arrived on July 17, 2025, adding AutoDrive, self-driving Delamain cabs and four new vehicles with side jobs. A 2.31 hotfix followed on September 11, 2025. For a new player, long cross-city drives are now optional rather than a chore.
Is more coming?
CD Projekt strongly hinted that 2.3 was the last major update (see the official Cyberpunk 2077 news and patch notes). A May 2026 investor call teased unannounced content, but nothing Cyberpunk-specific was confirmed at our last check. The sequel is years away, so don’t wait for it.

Per CD Projekt Red’s Game Pass announcement, Xbox One stops at Update 1.6, and PS4 is capped at the same Edgerunners update.
